I received an urgent call for help for this boy. Please read the text, it comes from a 100% trustworthy person: Greetings George! Met this little boy last week in Kadoma at a former girl soldiers village farm that I am visiting. Heartbreaking, to say the least. The child eats and drinks like an animal, Jose does not speak or walk, he is 8years old and severely malnourished. Gobbles food up quickly, then regurgitates it all up, minutes later. Only to eat his vomit again and again. Not an easy sight to stomach. Laps up water from a plate then after a few minutes regurgitates it all up again and again. Jose needs professional assistance. His basic needs are been neglected e.g mental stimulation, physiotherapy, exercise, play, he has no social life, no friends at all except for the helpers two year old. José is left to sit on the veranda or outside all day without any form of mental stimulation. His main care giver is the maid and his ill Gogo. Who was admitted into hospital on Monday for HBP & SD. Wish I could take him for a walk or give him hugs but that’s impossible he is usually covered in vomit from head to toe. His so frail too. Mostly bones and dry skin smothered with petroleum jelly. Heartbreaking to say the least. Jose needs urgent professional healthcare, physiotherapy, a children’s home that rehabilitates disabled neglected children with a learning and training centre such as Jiros Jiri or King George School for disabled children in Harare & Bulawayo. Both schools are paying schools. I was adviced by a members of Jiros Jiri staff, to seek a sponsor for Jose’s education and healthcare first , thereafter approach either of the above mentioned schools to enroll Jose. Your suggestions and help are most welcome& much needed to empower and restore Jose’s life. Iv begun giving him some fresh mango and Pawpaw leaf tea to deworm his body. Also little fruit my hostess shares with me I make sure, he gets a bit each day while I’m here. Thank you in advance🌻
